Lorraine: More from our gorgeous line of fine Australian Fiery White Created Opal Earrings. This stunning and gorgeous set features a 16mm Opal teardrop professionally hand set on to a solid 14-20‚ Gold Filled lever back setting. Made with created Australian Fiery White Opals, these are a gorgeous addition to any wardrobe and an ideal gift as the birthstone for October.

The created Opal that we use has the same underlying chemical composition as natural opals. The only difference is the polymer resin used to provide a base for the gemstone. They even have the same fluorescent properties as natural Opal. If you look at the second and third photos, the only difference between the photos and/or earrings is that we introduced an LED light source which highlights the fluorescent nature of the Opal that we use. All of our gemstone earrings are professionally hand-set right here in our own US studios. They are not imported nor drop-shipped from any other company or country.
